Zone Supervisor
Job Description
1. Normal
supervisory duties for direct staff. Allocates work, organize permits, interact
with operations and other sections when required and monitors progress to
ensure safe working and compliance to company standards and procedures and that
the work site is left safe, clean & tidy and also that the job work permit
is closed out properly.
2. Seeping -inspects plant sites to assess work
requirement reported by production staff in order to make recommendations for
maintenance and repair as input for pre-planning.
3. Scheduling -contributes and discusses with the
Planners/Schedulers on the daily progress, criticality and availability of
spares & other resources to ensure that jobs are optimally progressed &
resourced.

Job Description
Supervise and provide guidance/advice to contractors to
ensure on-site civil works are performed to the highest standards and comply
with the Companys standards and specifications.
Ensure on-site civil works are being carried out
correctly and in full accordance with the companys requirements, and completed
works are in accordance with the companys standards and specifications.
Ensure contractors quality management systems are being
used and applied effectively, in prder that all necessary site reports and
approvals are completed, in accordance with the companys standards.
Ensure that civil contractors carry out their site works
safely in that they comply with the companys EHS requirement.
Ensure Contractors Manpower and equipment is suitable to
perform works to acceptable standards. This will include verification of the
Contractors manpower, plant & equipment to confirm that only Company trade
tested and approved manpower and company tagged plant & equipment are used
in accordance with company procedures.

Co-ordinate, plan, administer and control all Contracts
and Consultancy Services for Maintenance Division to ensure
o Timely
renewal of contracts, allowing continuous provision of Contractor services
being supplied to end user Maintenance Departments.
o That
the Companys best interests and reputation are being safeguarded in all
Maintenance Contract activities and cost savings are generated through
negotiation to the Companys best advantage.
