Key accountabilities
o Ensure no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to
the environment by adhering to all BP HSSE policies and standards. o
Maintaining accurate records and reconciliation of vendor statements and ensure
that the payments are made as per the contracted payment terms. o Verification
of supplier invoices against contracted rates, local as well as overseas
suppliers o Ensure all appropriate documentation and approvals are in place for
all out of contract activities. o SPA for all vendor related queries on
payments status and invoice discrepancy. o Creation and submission of Freight
and Transport Provisions and recovery information to the BSC/Finance teams, as
per cost allocation codes, ensuring accurate allocation of spend against each
business. o Creation of Purchase Orders/Credit and Debit notes (and obtaining
approvals where required) based on inputs from the supply planning team. o
Monitoring of spend vs planned numbers and highlighting variances with reasons
o Ensure that all pricing/stocks availability/shipment detail enquiries are
communicated to various stakeholders promptly o Ensure that supplier
performance is monitored against SLAs and regular engagement sessions held to
discuss KPIs o Ensure a mechanism in place to check for accuracy and timely
submission of documents for import shipments and effective coordination is done
with customs clearance agent to reduce demurrages o Monitor and manage supplier
held inventories in line with demand and forecast variations o Timely and
accurate reconciliation of Marine invoices in JDE, in liaison with the BSC team
based in Malaysia o Preparation of performance reports for the planning
function o Act as the point of contact between the planning and marketing function
with the supplier related to packaging related queries
