Responsibilities
Deliver safety & risk engineering services that meet WorleyParsons, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
Perform safety & risk engineering services such as:
identify and report changes to project scope;
assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules;
provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders;
contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions;
assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in safety & risk engineering.
Communicate effectively with the safety & risk engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required

Job Descrption:
University degree in mechanical engineering.
· Minimum 10 years of relevant offshore oil & gas experience including static equipment design, equipment package design, procurement, inspection and equipment supplier coordination & management.
· Experience with waste heat recovery units (WHRU) and systems, vessel modifications (both internal and external) and associated recertification, FFS analysis in accordance to API 579, mechanical analysis to ASME VIII Div.1 and PD5500, S&T heat exchangers and compact heat exchangers.
· Experience with failure analysis and static equipment modifications / upgrade.
· Experience with Quality and certifications requirements for static equipment and mechanical components/fittings.
· FEED and detailed engineering experience essential.
