A bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related discipline is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and welding processes.
Good knowledge of various forms of corrosion and their identification along with monitoring and mitigation methods.
General knowledge in refinery/gas plant processes and interaction between the different organization such as operations, inspection, maintenance and engineering/design.
Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods.
Perform work as described and make clear and concise verbal and written reports and keep up with technical advancements.
Must be willing to work at high elevations and in confined spaces.
Must be willing to work in assigned areas.
Fully conversant with applicable industry standards, specifications (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM, etc.) and fabrication methods for mechanical materials and equipment (e.g., piping, valves and fittings.

Certified as ASNT or PCN NDT level III in at least three NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, and PT). Have acceptable hands-on experience in NDT methods (RT, UT, PT and MT) and radiographic film interpretation (RTFI).
Must be certified in API (570 or 510)
Excellent command of oral and written English, and excellent presentations skills.
Must be computer literate with competence in Microsoft Office products (i.e., MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
