BASIC FUNCTION
Coordinates and supervises on assigned shift, the operation of diversified and critical petroleum refining, hydroskimming, gas processing, and utilities plants in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the production, processing and distribution of diversified petroleum, gas and chemical products meeting specified qualities and quantities within the designated area. Operators Delayed Coker


BASIC FUNCTION:
-Carries out various skilled operating activities for the operations of units, system and equipments in the operating sections of the Refinery to process feed stocks includes carrying out regular inspection of utilities and reports, preparation of the area for various maintenance jobs, signing work permits for area preparedness to start maintenance work as well as commissioning of equipments after completion of maintenance works.

-Discusses all accidents, incidents and near misses with shift supervisor and fellow operators in order to avoid recurrence.
-Observes all safety, fire and security rules and regulations, including the use of protective clothing and equipment, and ensures all personnel working in his area comply with safety procedures. Ensures the maintenance of assigned area in a clean and tidy condition.

Miscellaneous:
Performs other similar or related duties, as assigned including training fellow operators, completing log book, conveying messages / instructions to operators for operational adjustments, etc. works with Advanced Process Control (APC) system and monitors the advanced operational system.
