esired Profile     Bachelor degree in Human Resources with 10 years of experience within the Human Resources/Talent / Learning /Organization Development function of a large corporation, preferably Refining/ Petrochemical/Engineering industry.

Professionally qualified e.g. Chartered member of CIPD / SHRM.
A recognised Coaching qualification would be highly desirable.

At least 5 years of experience in competency based Learning and development area.

Practical experience in development, management of Competency based Individual Development Plans.

Excellent interpersonal / communication / influencing skills and a committed team player.

Fully computer literate with knowledge and experience of MS Office Applications.

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), Ability to produce accurate and concise, written and verbal reports/presentations.

Job Description Prepare Core, Behavioral and Technical Competencies for the oil refining and support functions of the company.

Identify Competencies for the positions, prepare behavior indicators and map proficiency levels.

Develop a comprehensive competency dictionary in ORACLE HRMS and provide support on competency assessment.

Provide training on competency framework of the company to the various job levels in the company.

Maintain competency database, competency maps and update it when necessary to ensure that competencies are in line with job requirements and best practice.

Work closely with the Learning team and on-the-job trainers to ensure the alignment of learning activities with the competency development criteria.

Develop, implement & maintain Quality Assurance procedures for training and development activities.

Category Specialist - Procurement

Perform Category / Sub category Analysis such as market and suppliers analysis, SWOT, Porters Analysis, supplier segmentation etc. to develop category plan & sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
Assess Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and perform should cost analysis for assigned category to identify sourcing Opportunities.

Define, manage and implement contract management plans to ensure contract compliance alongside supplier strategies to the assigned category in the organization.

Conduct strategic sourcing and develop contracts for assigned category, ensuring that tender law is followed and suppliers are qualified to deliver goods and services.

Implement category strategies and demand initiatives for assigned category of goods & services to deliver new ways to eliminate, reduce, shift or supply demand more efficiently.

Measure and monitor supplier relationships/ performance for assigned category to ensure that contract value is delivered and seek improvement opportunities to further drive value.

Conduct review of actual performance in comparison to sourcing and supplier management expected outcomes for assigned category to prioritize / renew agreement and continue with supplier management or re-negotiate / re-source it.

Key Result Areas
Collects and analyzes data, monitors current state of category implementation and captures best practices and lessons learned, and identifies potential gaps and opportunities to provide necessary inputs for Category Plans.

d) Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) (clause process ), Sour Water Strippers, (SWS), and Tail Gas Treating Unit, (TGTU)

f) Fluid catalytic unit (FCCU)
g) Gas concentration Unit (GCU), Polymerization Units

IT Infrastructure Specialist


Job Description 1. Identifies options, evaluates alternatives and recommends solutions for Bapco Data Communication infrastructure.
2. Install and maintain data communication hardware and software.

3. Design and deploy data communication networks.

4. Maintain & support data communication systems such as VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems & Firewalls.

5. Manage and Implement software upgrades, security patches, configuration management and planned maintenance of all IT Data communication infrastructure systems.

6. Implement short term and long term strategies for infrastructure capacity to ensure the optimum utilization of the existing Data communication hardware resources.

7. Ensure that the necessary arrangements are in place to maintain or recover systems and services in the event of any major outrage to provide Business continuity plans (BCP).


8. Resolve issues of emergencies, withdrawal of services, routine and unscheduled maintenance with other IT staff under the guidance of a supervisor.
