A recognised Coaching qualification would be highly
desirable.

Excellent interpersonal / communication / influencing skills
and a committed team player.
Fully computer literate with knowledge and experience of MS
Office Applications.

Identify Competencies for the positions, prepare behavior
indicators and map proficiency levels.

Provide training on competency framework of the company to
the various job levels in the company.

Key Result Areas

IT Infrastructure Specialist
Job Description 1.
Identifies options, evaluates alternatives and recommends solutions for Bapco
Data Communication infrastructure.
2. Install and maintain data communication hardware and
software.
3. Design and deploy data communication networks.
4. Maintain & support data communication systems such as
VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems & Firewalls.
5. Manage and Implement software upgrades, security patches,
configuration management and planned maintenance of all IT Data communication
infrastructure systems.
6. Implement short term and long term strategies for
infrastructure capacity to ensure the optimum utilization of the existing Data
communication hardware resources.
7. Ensure that the necessary arrangements are in place to
maintain or recover systems and services in the event of any major outrage to
provide Business continuity plans (BCP).
8. Resolve issues of emergencies, withdrawal of services,
routine and unscheduled maintenance with other IT staff under the guidance of a
supervisor.
