drive for success. The Major Account Executive will be part of the Midwest
Region reporting into the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
The Major Account Executive is responsible for the strategic
objective of maximizing revenue generation within their assigned territory
through named existing accounts and new customer acquisition to enable their
customers to become more successful and profitable online. Success for the MAE
will be created through but not limited to:
* Developing a strategic sales plan, which includes
proactively developing account plans, as well as maximize the territory
opportunities through new account acquisition and existing customer revenue
growth.
* Utilizing marketing resources to create and manage a high
volume sales pipeline through successful execution of the sales plan.
* Record customer development activities within our CRM to
ensure forecast accuracy and planning.
* Articulate Akamais value proposition to C-Level executives
and corporate decision makers.
* Manage and drive contract negotiations to guarantee
customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technology.
* Work within integrated partnerships with sales engineers
to ensure consultative engagement with prospects and customers.
* Negotiating contracts and or renewals that maximize
customer usage and satisfaction.

Technical Project Managers | USA
Job Description
Technical Project Managers (TPMs) are part of the Akamai
Professional Services team and work directly with Akamai's clients to deliver
Akamai solutions. TPMs lead and manage the integration of customers web sites
with the Akamai network. They are involved from early in the pre-sales cycle
through implementation and customer sign-off. TPMs must have a full
understanding of development methodologies, consulting best practices, and
common web and application architectures.
TPMs at Akamai require a strong technical background,
excellent client and project management skills, proven ability to do hands on
technical work when needed, and ability to lead technical projects and technical
teams.
We are looking to develop an active pipeline of talented,
bright and customer oriented Technical Project Managers in Atlanta, Boston,
Chicago, Cambridge, San Mateo and Seattle.
