RasGas is one of the premier integrated liquefied natural
gas (LNG) enterprises in the world. RasGas has developed world class facilities
for the extraction, storage, processing and export of LNG and entered into
long-term agreements to supply customers around the globe, including Korea,
India, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, Belgium and the United States.
RasGas currently operates five LNG trains with 20.7 million
tonnes per annum (Mta) of production capacity. It is expected that this
production will be in the region of 37 Mta by 2009 with the completion of seven
trains.
RasGas acts as the operating company for and on behalf of
the Project Owners noted below. Its personnel manage and supervise the design,
construction and operation of various facilities under the terms of a ‘Services
Agreement for Operation and Maintenance’ signed in 2002. The company employs
more than 1,400 staff, working on a variety of projects.
In 2003, RasGas was designated to manage and supervise the
design, construction and operation of a helium facility on behalf of Ras
Laffan, Ras Laffan (II) and Qatargas. The Central Helium Recovery unit (HeRu)
project at Ras Laffan extracts helium from RasGas (Ras Laffan and Ras Laffan
(II)) and Qatargas (QG 1) LNG trains, and puts Qatar on the map as the provider
of 10 per cent of the world’s helium. RasGas has also signed a technical
services agreement to manage and supervise activities related to Qatargas
(II)’s drilling programme in addition to its own drilling programmes

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate (He / She ) should have:
B.Sc. degree Qualification in Mechanical, Subsea, Structure,
or Pipelines Engineering.
Minimum 12 years experience with a focus on pipelines
engineering and Integrity.
Knowledge of subsea and pipelines corrosion and failure
mechanisms and corrosion control.
Experienced in inspection methods and technologies. Minimum
three years of technical / applications support or in the Pipeline ILI Pigging,
pipeline construction and repairs.
Experienced in the fitness for services relevant codes and
supporting practices of SS Pipelines
Experience and knowledge of risk based integrity management
methods.
Strong understanding of Process Safety concepts and
elements.
Familiarity of the procedures and practices of
Classification, and Certification, asset integrity data management,
interpretation of anomalies, data manipulation and integrity databases.
Good Computer skills and problem solving capabilities and

MARINE SURVEY SPECIALIST
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree qualified in Mechanical, Marine, or Naval
Engineering.
Minimum eight years working experience with a focus on
offshore marine, installation and or Survey field
Strong understanding of Process Safety concepts and elements
Development and operating experience of pipeline and
structures installations and surveys, Knowledge of the underlying principles of
subsea structures transportation and installations, and pipe-laying and
surveying methods
Previous employment / experience working for Sub-sea
surveying Company(s) or similarly related EPC Company is desired. Experienced
Good understanding on marine surveys and ROV, vessels and barges operations,
