HEAVY DUTY DRIVER
Job Purpose
Responsible for loading and delivery of petroleum products
through company owned trucks.the delivery process includes loading ,delivering
by gravity or using PTO pumbs, quality &quantity check throughout the
process and safe driving.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Responsible
for loading the trucks in accordance to the work instruction for safe and
quality product delivery without any errors
2. Check the
loading documents (Loading instruction and the delivry Advise DA)for the
product, quantity, truck & trailer number and the customer name.
3. Ensure that
the truck and tanker are suitable for the product,quantity and the customer to
send the corrct product requird for the customer and the customer satisfaction
is achieved.
4. Ensure all
procedures are followed while loading the truck to make to avoid any loading
mistakes
5. After loading
is completed ,fills up the D/A with quantity loaded, tank No.product
temperature and all other required details .
6. Seals the
tanker compartment outlet valves with numbered seals and notes the seal nos
.onthe Delivery advise
7. On reaching
the assigned site / commercial ,aligns the tanker to the fuel decanting area in
a safe manner without causing any inconvenience to the public and without any
risk to company vehicle or customer property.
8. Carryout the
joint product stock taking and ensure that
there is enough ullage in the site / customers tank before commencing
product decanding .
9. Discharge
product at destination including special procedures fpr unatteneded deliveries.
10. After completion
of product delivery at the site ensure that the tanker is empty and confirm
with the cutomer on product receipt in full.
11. Collect the
signed documents from the customer and make sure that the documents are in
proper order.
12. Driving the
truck in safest possible manner by following the defensive driving ,in order to
avoid and accidentsor any damage to the truck due harsh braking etc.
13. Maitans the
speed limits of the specific routs and zones.

1) Maintain
customer Service at all facilities. Also to assessment by Mystery Shoppers. To
Justify Mystery Shopper Assessment Results.
2) To handle
staff & Staff administration at Site level for all facilities.
3) Over all site
operation including daily cash banking, Maintain accounts & Records as per
RBU Guidelines & requirements.
4) Over all
maintenance of any kind of MCM Issues at the Entire Site Level including On
Site Accommodation & Site Mosque,
5) Maintain &
Accounting of Site Assets.
6) Maintain
certificate for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BS OHSAS
and HACCP.
7) Maintain staff
legal requirements such as Passport, Visa, Food Handling Card, Health Card, and
National ID along with Site Trade License.
8) Read &
Reply E-mails from different department, AM, RFS and to act accordingly.
9) Responsible
for Site Internal & External audits.
10) Follow Retail
sites procedures for:
a. Non-paying
customers.
b. Inventory
management.
c. Profit &
Loss reports.
d. Fuel ordering.
e. Evaluate
Star Employee of the Month.
f. Checklist for
Sniffer Pipe, Site Light, looking good, decanting and EHS
