BUISNESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Roles
To fulfil the role of Business Development Manager and New Markets Manager for the ME&NA, managing business development, new market entries, and leading the new country project management and country management teams.
The BD & NM Manager holds the Commercial JV relations with JV’s including third party stakeholder and board level engagement whereas the Operations and JV Manager MENA holds the HSSE and assurance accountability for those JV’s.
The country teams are responsible for statutory compliance and governance of JV’s in line with local laws.

Area Sales Manager

The Area Sales Manager(ASM) role exists to manage the ownership of the customer relationships in the Area. The position will provide legal support in the nature of counseling, drafting, negotiating, as well as providing regulatory and transactional assistance to the Global Oil Americas business Unit including: - drafting and supporting negotiation of long and short term oil and petroleum product purchase and sale agreements; transportation and storage agreements, and master trading agreements; - advising on international trade issues, including marine issues from a shipper standpoint, trade sanctions, Incoterms and letter of credit issues; - drafting and supporting negotiation of derivative and structured product agreements; - reviewing, drafting and supporting negotiation of credit support arrangements such as guarantees, master netting agreements, and security agreements; - drafting and supporting negotiation of business development transactions including supply and offtake transactions; and - advising as to the relevant laws and regulations applicable to oil and petroleum product transactions, including transportation and storage agreements. The position will also require cross-team collaboration and coordination of legal workload with the other internal Legal teams, with colleagues in Canada, the UK and Singapore, IST Ethics and Compliance and with outside counsel. The lawyer should have a proven track record as a team player and as an effective manager of resources, both internal and external.

Category Manager

The Category Manager, Engineering and Project Support Services is responsible for development and implementation of Engineering and Project Support Services strategic sourcing activities in Fuels NA business units. The Category Manager, Engineering and Project Support Services will also cultivate and maintain a supply base comprised of incumbent and newly-identified competitive service providers. Maintenance of these supplier relationships will include Contract Management and Supplier Performance Management. 
Success for this role is defined by establishing forward-looking category strategies which support the Engineering and Project Support Services needs of Fuels NA and result in the appropriate sourcing activities to enable optimization of 3rd-Party spend. Head of control
Roles
The Middle East Region has operations, activities or representative offices in five countries: the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Pakistan, and Iraq. This position is responsible for the Accounting, Reporting and Control (‘ARC’) activities throughout the entire Region.
At this time, there are ~17 staff working in the Region’s ARC organization in Oman, Abu Dhabi and Sunbury. There are plans to add staff in Oman as we approach first production in 2017. Also, there are 4 FTEs in GBS (Budapest) supporting Iraq and approximately 8 FTEs in Accenture (Bangalore) supporting Abu Dhabi and Oman. Under the current organization structure, five positions report directly to the Head of Control.
The SAP GFT is used to account for Oman and Iraq activities and the SUN system is used to account for Abu Dhabi and Kuwait activities. In total, the Head of Control is responsible for 19 Consolidation Units.
The successful candidate for this Head of Control posting will benefit from the opportunity to work with the diverse Middle East portfolio. Our operations include both oil and gas operations; operated and non-operated assets at all stages of the life cycle (new country entry through office closure / shutdown) and differing contractual regimes (tax and royalty, Production Sharing Agreements and fixed margin contracts). There are also significant business development opportunities across the Region.
Key activities are the Khazzan development project in Oman, renewal of the existing concession in Abu Dhabi, build-up of technical services support in Kuwait, and operation of the joint venture in Iraq, along with managing the closure of activities in Jordan and Pakistan. Projections for the Region over the next three years include: production of 221mboed/year, Capex of $2bn/year, and Cash Costs of $700m/year.
The Head of Control reports to the Vice-President of Eastern Hemisphere Financial Control and interacts heavily with the other Finance sub-functions in the Region, as well as with the heads of the various business functions in the Region. The Head of Control is a member of the RLT.
Strong management, leadership, strategic, networking, communication and facilitation skills are essential to delivering the ARC agenda for the Region, working closely with the ARC and other functional teams in each country

Project Operations Manager
