Academic back ground
-B.E. in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent
Or Shall be a three-year full time diploma in Engineering or Science graduate
(in Physics or Chemistry) having a minimum of five years working experience in
the field of environmental in core industries like refineries, petrochemicals,
fertilizers, steel plants and heavy chemicals, etc.
-He must speak, read and write English very well with
Industrial Diploma in Environmental Science.
Competent Person (Asbestos Analysis)
-A fit and properly trained person who has the necessary
technical, engineering and professional skills and ability, authority and
know-how to meet and institute the procedural requirements of one or more
environmental aspect(s)-asbestos of the
operation. He/she is also responsible for periodically evaluating compliance
with the relevant environmental legislation and regulations appertaining to the
operation and for new developments.
-Competent Person (normally the author of the procedure)
shall have the basic knowledge of waste management & minimization, and
experience to review the elements of this procedure
-Competent person must have the knowledge of regulatory
requirements to ensure compliance
-Competent Person will initiate changes to the procedure as
required.
-Based on the requirement, authorization Training for Waste
Transport Manifest will be conducted by Environment Division. Nominated person
should attend this course along with their HSE Training Passport. Those
authorized to sign on the
-Manifest will have to pass the test conducted at end of the
course. Badges shall be issued to successful candidates. Those not passed the
exam (employee/contractor) shall not be eligible to sign on manifest.
Asbestos Analyst is responsible for:
-Being a competent independent expert and qualified to act
as an analyst in accordance with UK HSE regulations (or equivalent
internationally recognised regulations).
-Providing support to EPC Contractor Construction Manager
and EPC Contractor HSES Manager
-When requested, reviewing and commenting on Asbestos Works
Specifications and EPC Contractors Method Statements prior to commencement of
the works.
-Providing quotations reflecting the anticipated analytical
requirements for each Asbestos Work removal or encapsulation
-Attending the contract Pre-Contract Meeting, Site Meetings
and Handover Meetings as required by Company
-Completing check lists, warning and advisory signs etc. as
drawn up by Company.
-Carrying out enclosure inspections, smoke tests, analytical
works and clearance inspections as agreed with EPC Contractor HSES Manager.
-Where site conditions alter and the Approved Contractor’s
labour is not available the Analyst shall amend the level of testing and
inspection to ensure information relevant to the continued health and safety of
employees on the project is obtained.
-Reporting to the EPC Contractor HSES Manager any defects or
non-compliance relating to the Approved Contractor’s performance, suitability
of the work area, adherence to the Method statement, Statutory Instruments, and
Company Procedures.
-Where the Approved Contractor labour is not readily
available the Analyst shall report to the Contractor HSES Manager.
-Checking areas on completion of the asbestos remedial works
to ensure the EPC Contractor has completed his scope of works and that all
affected areas have been left in a clean and satisfactory condition.
-Maintain regular contact with the Approved Contractor site
manager regarding progress of site works.
-Reporting to the EPC Contractor HSES Manager and others if
appropriate, any aspects of asbestos management encountered on site which could
give rise to health risks, for example breaches of Asbestos Abatement
Procedure, suspect or damaged materials.
-Issue completion reports, including clearance
documentation, and certificates of reoccupation, to the EPC Contractor HSES
Manager on completion of site works.
-Completion report to include clearance and consignment
certificates, details of any site instructions given to the EPC Contractor, and
any information on asbestos containing materials that remain in the designated
area of the asbestos removal works.
-Stopping the work where the Asbestos Contractor does not
perform to the required standards.

Technical Qualification:
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering with
AWS / CSWIP certified with minimum 8 years of welding experience is required.
Job Description:
-Develops welding techniques, procedures, and application of
welding equipment to problems involving fabrication of metals, utilizing
knowledge of production specifications, properties and characteristics of
metals and metal alloys, and engineering principles:
-Prepares technical reports and suggest the remedies as
investigation result of welding nonconformance if required.
-Establishes or review welding procedures to guide
production and welding personnel relating to specification restrictions,
material processes, pre- and post-heating requirements which involve use of
complex alloys, unusual fabrication methods, welding of critical joints, and
complex post-heating requirements.
-Directs and coordinates technical personnel in performing
inspections to ensure workers' compliance with established welding procedures,
restrictions, and standards; in testing welds for conformance with national
code requirements; or testing welding personnel for certification.
-Contacts personnel of other agencies, engineering personnel,
or clients to exchange ideas, information, or offer technical advice concerning
welding matters.
-Saudi Aramco Experience and internationally-certified
welding engineer are preferred

Duties and Responsibilities for Logistics
-Arrange quotations for Import, Export and Back to Back
shipments from Forwarders – Ocean, Air & Courier Shipments.
-Makes comparison sheet and shipping status report
-Thoroughly checks draft Shipping Documents and ensure that
Original Shipping Documents sent before the shipments arrive in final
destination to avoid demurrage and Port detention charge.
-For Export shipments, makes Commercial Invoice, Packing
list and apply Certificate of Origin at Kuwait Chamber of Commerce.
-For Back to Back shipment, coordinates with the our
Forwarder and Shipper to handover the goods.
-Coordinates with the Forwarders for DO collection and other
relevant documents and give instructions to our company Liaison for
arranging/collecting the same.
-Coordinates with Kuwait Municipality for goods approval and
certifications.
-Coordinates with Accounts Department for Forwarder Invoice
& Shipper Invoice for payment processing.
-Monitor, update the shipments until the goods receive in
Warehouse.
-File properly Shipping Documents, Certifications, Lab Test
