Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) is the foremost exploration
and production company in the Sultanate. We account for more than 70% of the
country's crude oil production and nearly all of its natural gas supply. The
Company is owned by the Government of Oman (with a 60% interest), Royal Dutch
Shell (34%), Total (4%) and Partex (2%). The first economic oil find was made
in 1962, and the first oil consignment was exported in 1967.
PDO operates in a concession area of about 100,000 km2 (one
third of Oman’s geographical area), has around 130 producing fields, close to
6,000 producing wells, a diverse workforce of around 8,000 employees, comprised
of 64 different nationalities, and more than 45,000 contractors.

Chief Electrician
Purpose of Job
• To manage
upkeep and serviceability of all electrical equipment (e.g. power systems,
instrumentations, etc.),
• To
coordinate trouble-shooting and the repair of all electrical faults on
company-owned rigs and hoists.

Purpose of Job

Completion Supervisor
Principal Accountabilities
• Reporting
to the Completion Workshop Supervisor &
shall have hands on responsibility to supervise the workshop technicians
on the shop floor on a day to day basis ensuring Company values of HSE, Quality
and Delivery are met.
• To lead
by example and ensure timekeeping and good conduct of workshop technicians are
maintained.Prepared to work long hours and weekends to meet client demand.
• Supervision of workshop technicians and trainees to carry
out assembly and test, refurbishment and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Provide
training and mentoring of workshop technicians and trainees to work in a safe
manner at all times, to comply with PDO procedures & health, safety and
environment legislation and policy.
• Assist
Workshop Supervisor and Workshop technicians
on quality plans, processes and procedures. and ensure QA/QC is
maintaned.
• To attend
& perform all rig(s) & WPH(s) activities identified within the
workscope that includes physical/drawing
QC requirements are completed.
• Assist
Workshop planner on capacity planning and co-ordination of workshop repair and
testing activities in accordance with established work methods and procedures.
• Execution
of well site operation plan & schedule to meet delivery capacity plans
.Prepare assemblies using torque machine, and test equipment results & paper work to meet work scope
requirements.
• Maintain
and ensure ready Sub assemblies & associated equipment for shipment and
test tools in safe and good working conditions prior attending to the rig/WPH
site.
• Instruct
workshop technicians to ensure equipment & subassemblies are maintained in
a safe and tidy manner prior shipping.

Field Logistics Coordinator
Purpose of Job
To coordinate the infield logistics process related to Nimr
operations. This includes all materials and spare parts required for the rigs
and hoists operations
